The system updates the learner’s profile with progress data, skill scores, and instructor feedback.

How can instructors chat with learners?

Instructors can initiate a chat with the learner by tapping the chat icon on the session details screen.

Can instructors send messages while waiting for a learner?

Yes, instructors can send and receive messages while waiting for the learner at the pickup location.

Is there a way to send quick responses?

Yes, the chat includes preset quick responses like "I'm on my way," "OK, got it!" and "I've arrived."

Can instructors call learners directly from the chat?

Yes, there is a call button inside the chat that allows instructors to call learners directly.

Is the chat feature secure?

Yes, the chat includes a reminder not to share personal or payment details to maintain privacy and security.

Can learners send their location through the chat?

Currently, the chat does not display a location-sharing feature, but the instructor can see the learner’s pickup location on the map.

What happens if a learner doesn’t respond in chat?

If the learner is unresponsive, instructors can try calling them or use the "Waiting Timer" to track delays.

What does the "Stop New Requests" feature do?

This feature allows instructors to stop receiving new booking requests while they are in an active lesson.

How can I stop new booking requests?

Tap the Stop New Requests button in the session interface to prevent additional bookings from coming in.

Will learners see that I have stopped accepting new requests?

No, this setting is only visible to instructors and does not affect learner visibility.

What are booking preferences?

Booking preferences allow instructors to choose how they accept lesson bookings, including On-Demand, Future Bookings, and Instructor-Managed Bookings.

Where can I update my booking preferences?

You can update your booking preferences in the Settings menu under Booking Preferences.

What happens if I disable On-Demand lessons?

If you disable On-Demand lessons, you will no longer receive instant booking requests from learners who need immediate or short-notice lessons.

What is the difference between Future Bookings and Live Profile?

Future Bookings allow learners to schedule lessons in advance, while Live Profile makes your profile visible to learners so they can directly book private lessons with you.

Can I enable or disable booking options at any time?

Yes, you can switch any of the booking options on or off whenever needed.

Does changing my booking preferences affect my current bookings?

No, updating your booking preferences will only affect new bookings. Existing lessons will remain unchanged.

How can I set my availability for lessons?

You can set your availability by navigating to Settings>Area & Availability and selecting the days and times you are available for bookings.

What is buffer time, and how does it work?

Buffer time is the additional time added between sessions to allow for travel or breaks. You can adjust this setting to manage your schedule efficiently.

Can I select specific areas where I want to provide lessons?

Yes, you can define your service areas on the map and set a radius to specify how far you're willing to travel for lessons.

How do I update my lesson radius?

Under My Areas, you can adjust your service radius using the slider to set the maximum distance for lesson requests.

Can I specify which type of lessons I offer in different areas?

Yes, you can choose to offer automatic, manual, or both types of driving lessons in your selected service areas.

Is it possible to sync my personal calendar with the DoopL instructor app?

Yes, you can integrate your personal calendar to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth scheduling.

DoopL It is an On-Demand booking feature that allows learners to instantly request a driving session based on instructor availability. It can also be used as a transportation option while learning to drive.

Can I use an On-Demand booking for transportation as well?

Yes! DoopL It allows you to move between locations while learning to drive with an instructor.

Can I choose a specific instructor for an On-Demand booking?

No, DoopL It automatically assigns the nearest available instructor. If you prefer a specific instructor, use the Instructor Booking option.

How quickly will an instructor arrive for an On-Demand booking?

The arrival time depends on instructor availability and location. The estimated arrival time will be displayed before confirming the booking.

Can I cancel an On-Demand session after booking?

Yes, but cancellation fees may apply based on the time of cancellation.

What is Plan?

The Plan booking option allows you to schedule a session for a later time or date while also using the session for transportation or extended driving practice.

Can I use a Future Booking for transportation as well?

Yes! Just like DoopL It, you can use a scheduled session to travel between locations while improving your driving skills.

How far in advance can I book a session?

You can schedule a session days or weeks in advance.

What skill categories can I evaluate?

Instructors can assess learners on multiple skills, including:

How do I request an On-Demand session?

1. Open the DoopL app and select DoopL It from the booking options. 

2. Choose your pick-up and drop-off location. 

3. (Optional) Add extra training time or additional stations for extended practice. 

4. Confirm your booking, and the nearest available instructor will be assigned to you.

How do I schedule a Future Booking?

1. Open the DoopL app and select Plan. 

2. Choose your pick-up and drop-off location. 

3. Select a date and time that fits your schedule. 

4. (Optional) Add extra training time, a drive test, or additional stations. 5. Confirm your booking.

What happens if my instructor cancels the session?

• You will be notified immediately. 

• You can either request another On-Demand session or schedule a Future Booking.

How do I track my instructor after booking?

Once the booking is confirmed, you can: 

• View the instructor's location on the map. 

• See the estimated arrival time. 

• Message or call the instructor if needed.

What happens if no instructor is available?

If no instructor is available, you can: 

• Try again after a few minutes. 

• Schedule a Future Booking using the Plan option.

Will stopping new requests affect my ongoing lesson? No, stopping new requests only prevents additional bookings. Your current session will continue as scheduled. 

• Can I enable new requests again after stopping them? Yes, you can turn new requests back on at any time from the session settings. 

• When should I use this feature?Use this feature when you want to focus on your current session without receiving interruptions from new booking notifications.

How do I assess a learner’s driving skills?

• After completing a lesson, navigate to the Assessments section. 

• Select skill categories such as Basic Vehicle Control, Lane Positioning, Adjusting Speed, Driving Awareness, etc. 

• Assign a rating for each skill based on the learner’s performance. • Add comments for specific feedback.

How do I assess a learner’s performance?

✔ Tap “Assessments” after the lesson. 

✔ Rate skills like vehicle control, awareness, and confidence. 

✔ Leave notes for improvement.

How do I submit an assessment?

• After filling in the ratings and comments, tap the Submit button.
